Herr Entspannung offers wellness massage for relaxation and personal wellbeing. I do not have formal massage therapist training and do not provide medical treatment, therapy, diagnosis or healthcare. Not every technique listed here is suitable for every person or mobile setting. Pregnancy massage is not offered.
Classic and flowing styles
Swedish-style massage
Often described as a classic, familiar style. It can combine long gliding strokes with kneading, friction, light lifting movements and gentle tapping. Pressure and pace are adjusted to your preference, from a soft, quiet rhythm to a firmer feel. We agree beforehand which areas to include and which to leave out.
Esalen-inspired massage
Esalen massage developed at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. Its best-known feature is a sequence of long, flowing strokes over the body, creating a continuous and unhurried rhythm. Gentle movement may be included where appropriate. Compared with a more focused massage, it usually uses more oil and less kneading or tapping. The session is adapted to the space and setup available.
Deep-pressure elements
Some people prefer slower, firmer pressure than in a light wellness massage. This approach works gradually and only within a comfortable range. Pressure is checked throughout the session and can be reduced or stopped at any time. Deep-pressure work here is a wellness option only. It is not intended to treat chronic pain, injuries or medical conditions.
Lomi Lomi-inspired massage
Lomi Lomi Nui is a traditional Hawaiian massage style. In wellness settings, it is known for broad, flowing movements using the hands and forearms, often with a generous use of oil. The rhythm can feel spacious and continuous. The original cultural practice has wider meanings; this service offers selected relaxation-focused elements only and makes no spiritual or therapeutic claims.
Abhyanga-inspired oil ritual
Abhyanga is an oil massage associated with the Ayurvedic tradition. A wellness session inspired by this style uses warm oil and calm, even movements. The oil and scent are chosen with you beforehand. The description refers to the style and atmosphere of the session, not to an Ayurvedic treatment or medical effect.
Aroma oil massage
A relaxed massage can be combined with a carefully selected scented oil. Essential oils are used sparingly and only after we have discussed your preferences. A subtle or fragrance-free option may be available. Please mention known sensitivities or ingredients you wish to avoid before the appointment. Oils are for external use during the wellness session.
Warmth and focused sessions
Hot stone massage
Smooth stones warmed to a comfortable temperature may be placed on or moved over selected areas during the massage. We check the warmth together before use and throughout the session. If heat does not feel pleasant, we leave the stones out. This is a relaxation-focused wellness ritual, not a treatment for pain or other symptoms.
Sports-style massage
A firmer, more focused style that may include stretching and loosening movements around an active lifestyle. Beforehand, tell me about your preferences and any areas you would like me to avoid. This is not sports therapy, injury prevention or rehabilitation, and it is not intended to improve athletic performance.
Back, neck and shoulders
A focused wellness session for the back, neck and shoulders, with pressure adjusted from gentle to medium according to your feedback. We discuss the areas you want included and your preferred pace. You can ask to change or stop the massage at any time.
Foot massage
A calm foot massage can use a combination of gentle strokes and varied pressure. It can be a short standalone pause or part of a longer wellness session. This is a massage of the feet only. It does not diagnose or treat conditions of the feet or internal organs.
Hand, head and face massage
Gentle, unhurried movements can be used for the hands, scalp, face, neck and shoulders. We agree which areas feel comfortable to include. This can be a short pause or a quiet ending to a longer session. Please tell me if you prefer any area to be left untouched.
Sound bowl session
By prior arrangement, soft sounds and vibrations from singing bowls can be included as a quiet ending or a separate relaxation ritual. This is an optional atmosphere element, not music and not a therapeutic sound treatment. It is only included if you would like it.
Traditional approaches and selected elements
Shiatsu-inspired bodywork
Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork that uses steady finger or palm pressure at selected points. It is traditionally performed clothed. The format, position and pressure need to suit the person and the mobile setup, so we discuss beforehand which elements can be offered comfortably. No claims are made about energy pathways or medical effects.
Thai massage elements
Traditional Thai massage can combine pressure, passive stretches and guided movement, and is often performed on a floor mat with the recipient clothed. A mobile table appointment cannot reproduce every traditional element. We can discuss simple, comfortable elements in advance; anything unsuitable for the setting is left out.
Tuina-inspired bodywork
Tuina is a traditional Chinese form of bodywork using varied hand techniques such as pressing, rubbing, kneading and tapping. These terms describe the style, not a medical service. Only relaxation-focused elements that can be comfortably offered in the mobile setting are considered.
Reflexology and foot-pressure techniques
Some foot massage traditions use pressure on specific areas of the feet. Here, foot massage is offered as a comfortable wellness experience. No claim is made that areas of the feet correspond to organs or that the massage can influence health conditions elsewhere in the body.
Partner wellness session
A shared wellness break for two can be arranged by prior agreement. The space, sequence and timing depend on the room and available setup. We discuss the practical details beforehand so each person knows what to expect.
Short hand and foot sessions
For workplace events, fairs or a brief break, short hand or foot massages may be possible. The format, duration, number of participants and available space are agreed with the organiser in advance.
Choosing what suits you
You do not have to choose a named style before calling. Tell me whether you would prefer a quiet flowing rhythm, a focused back massage, comfortable warmth, a particular oil or a short session for the hands or feet. We can then discuss what is feasible at your location and agree on the duration, pressure and areas to avoid.
If you have an acute injury, infection, skin irritation or a health concern, postpone the appointment or ask a medical professional whether a wellness massage is suitable for you. Please share relevant sensitivities before booking. Pregnancy massage is not offered.
Prices
Massage time is €1 per minute: 45 minutes €45, 60 minutes €60 or 90 minutes €90. Travel is €1 per driven kilometre up to 100 km; longer journeys are agreed in advance.
